Yeah, the article I linked to about the Waverly company mentions that, it’s interesting. Equally amusing is how cheap and accessible petroleum won out over range limited electric cars back then, eventually surpassing their benefits in ease of use and that only now electric cars are starting to be truly viable alternatives again.
